Dr. Michelle Hunt Dr. Michelle Hunt BSc, BVSc
Vet
Since Michelle moved to the Narre Warren area in 1998 she has focused on Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, rather than Large Animal work (she was in Mixed Practice for several years prior to this). Michelle has worked at WoofPurNay since it formed (from Narre Warren North Vet Clinic) in April 2008. As well as her part-time Veterinary duties, Michelle teaches Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing throught the College of Applied Animal Studies (ACAAS) based at WoofPurNay.

Michelle likes to spend her spare time with her animals: riding her horse, walking her dog, and even walking her cat! Yes, Layla the cat likes to tag along sometimes too, and Layla also enjoys car rides: she's a brave and curious little soul who began her life as a stray. Michelle also enjoys bushwalking, particularly in Tasmania and the Otways where there are plenty of waterfalls.

Michelle is pictured here with her dogs Reina and Keely. Sadly Reina, the Blue Heeler, passed away in March 2010 at the age of 15 years and is deeply missed. Keely, the Ridgeback Cross, was born in 1998 and so is in her senior years: she was adopted as a 3 year old when her family didn't want her anymore. She is a sweet and gentle soul and wonderful company.
