| Vanessa began her career as a Veterinary Nurse at our clinic 12 years ago. After 6 years away, during which time she worked in Small Animal and Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Practices she has returned to utilize her skills in her preferred field as an Emergency & Critical Care Nurse.
Vanessa has a special interest in pregnancy and neonatal care and rears many animals and birds each year. She also likes keeping slightly less common pets, bringing with her husbandry knowledge in the care of Reptiles, Native Tortoise, Ferrets, Scorpions, Frogs and even Spiny Leaf Insects. She is also a Foster Carer for several Melbourne based animal rescue groups, welfare being another of her passions. In her spare time Vanessa spends many hours doing additional training and education in order to improve her knowledge and skills. |
