Dr. Narelle Cribb Dr. Narelle Cribb BVSc (Hons), MVS
Vet

Narelle has lived and worked in the district for over 14 years and already has a high profile with the local horse and farming community as an equine and large animal Vet. She was invited to take up the position of Federation Equestrian Internationale (FEI) Vet in 2002 and has held this position for a number of years. As part of her honorary duties she has accepted a number of important vetting appointments with Performance Horses – especially with Endurance Horses. Narelle was the Australian Endurance Team vet when Australia won the World Endurance Championship in Bahrain in 2005 and again held this position for the successful Australian Trans Tasman team in 2007. Narelle has been invited to act on the International Veterinary Panel at several world level equestrian events.

Narelle loves working with horses and is a successful competitor in her own right on her horse Issy Miaki; a 14.3hh Anglo Arabian she has trained herself. Issy Miaki (Jake to his friends) also competes successfully as an Eventer and as a Show Hunter, often winning against more favoured rivals, as his movement and education are hard to beat!

Her prowess does not stop with her ability to work with horses, but expands to small animals. In 2002 Narelle graduated with a Masters Degree in Veterinary Studies – Small Animal Medicine & Surgery - from Murdoch University, Perth and she was recently employed in a (mainly) greyhound practice specialising in canine reproduction.

As a practicing vet with small animal Post Tertiary qualifications, Narelle has expanded her skills to practice successfully with farm animals, cats and alpacas. This breadth of experience will enhance the high standard of animal care practiced at Woofpurnay Veterinary Hospital.
